Conservation and Restoration

Our restoration and conservation skills stretch from the conservation of a rare Arts and Crafts wardrobe for a leading antique dealer’s stand at a prestigious art fair such as the Pavilion of Art and Design (PAD)  to entire rooms.

For historic properties, we can restore carved mouldings and details by painstakingly removing centuries of paintwork. Drawing on our knowledge of art-history we can replace lost mouldings.  Our sensitive approach to conservation is appreciated by our clients, who include leading interior designers as well as the owners of historic houses.  

Throughout out projects, clients will be kept informed of progress through detailed reports which can be archived for future generations.

We are also often asked to restore damaged wallpaper or paint finishes in properties after fire or flood damage.
